Don’t let the pink fool you cause this gym is no joke!

This was my first weight training class, and this is one of Pink Iron’s more “chill” classes. We started out with some foam rolling, which was nice but also painful (if you’ve ever tried foam rolling, you know what I’m talking about!). Then we did one-handed kettle ball lifts and lunges. There were 3 different circuits total. The second circuit involved doing hollow holds (for abs) and handstand holds – which are exactly what they sound like. The last circuit involved doing pull-up holds or ring holds. Finally, we stretched it out. It was a small class and there was some partner work involved, and the instructor, Rose, was really good about giving individual attention. I went with a friend luckily so it was pretty fun for us, but it was definitely harder than we expected!
