Don’t let the pink fool you cause this gym is no joke!

This was my first weight training class, and this is one of Pink Iron’s moreĀ ā€œchillā€ classes. We started out with some foam rolling, which was nice but also painful (if you’ve ever tried foam rolling, you know what I’m talking about!). Then we did one-handed kettle ball lifts and lunges. There were 3 different circuits total. The second circuit involved doing hollow holds (for abs) and handstand holds – which are exactly what they sound like. The last circuit involved doing pull-up holds or ring holds. Finally, we stretched it out. It was a small class and there was some partner work involved, and the instructor, Rose, was really good about giving individual attention. I went with a friend luckily so it was pretty fun for us, but it was definitely harder than we expected!
