Jonathan is a hoot! I had so much fun at this class with him. He gives you a really good lesson on the basics of tennis. Having used to play in middle school and high school (though I was never that good), I really enjoyed his clear direction to build a good foundation. I’ve been to several of his lessons now and they’re great for people who know little to nothing about tennis but want to learn. In each class, Jonathan takes you through the five main strokes in tennis – forehand volley, backhand volley, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke and the serve. Not to mention, the location is right on the marina, and beautiful!
My only complaint about these classes is that because there are different people each time, the class kind of resets each time. Therefore, it’s kind of hard to progress and build on what you learned the previous class. If I ever decide to give ClassPass a break, I would definitely consider taking more formal lessons with Jonathan.
