I attended the grand opening event at Platefit’s newest location – Studio City, and it was BEAUTIFUL. The studio is very spacious, with new equipment and even a cute photo wall. I’ve done a few Platefit classes in the past, but this was my first time doing the BootcampFIT class with master trainer Ilia Anais, and it kicked my butt and definitely changed my perception of 30-minute workouts.
The class incorporated cardio in the form of jumping and stepping, TRX-like conditioning with the use of resistance bands, and sculpting with various pilates techniques on the power plates to give you a full body workout. If I thought my previous Platefit classes were on the easier side, BootcampFIT definitely changed my mind. This would be the perfect class for someone who was short on time but wanted to still fit in an intense full body workout.
