I’m not a gym person, (which is why I’m so in love with ClassPass), but after hearing that my friend is in love with Crunch gym, I decided to go check it out with her. Located in the CB2 plaza on Sunset, the facilities were big and clean, though it wasn’t on the same level as Equinox. (But you get what you pay for!). There were multiple weight stations, machines, open floor area and studio rooms. This gym definitely was equipped with everything you’d want for a workout. However, you sometimes had to weight for a machine or station because there weren’t too many of them.
Crunch also offers various classes, and these were at more popular times. The gym time seems to be only available during really early hours, really late hours, or weekends (which makes sense since they don’t want Classpassers overcrowding their normal members). Overall, I had a good experience, but I probably would not go back alone because I normally have no idea what I am doing in a gym without guidance.
