This was my first time kayaking and after being a little nervous at first, I caught on to it in no time and had a lot of fun. Your arms will get really sore and your seat will get wet from the kayak being previously wet and/or from the water that will drip from the paddle as you switch sides. Depending on how fast you go, this can be a great cardio workout as well!
This was a great hot, summer day activity and I will go back to try out the hydrobike and possibly stand-up paddle boarding. They don’t provide instruction so I recommend being somewhat comfortable on a paddle board first if you decide to go that route. The only rule they give you is that boats have the right of way. Also, the wait list gets long for a rental so be sure to sign up early!
